The city authority pays particular attention to play areas, ever-conscious of their contribution to the quality of life in the city and the harmonious development of the children.
The City of Luxembourg plans to develop play areas by suitably adapting them even more to meet the needs of the children.
To optimize the management of the 172 play areas in the capital, the City has developed a concept based on quality, security, service and training. This idea will be put into practice in close collaboration with local interest groups, parents' associations, teachers and services concerned.
In the long term, this means that the quality of the play areas will improve; more will be built and adapted to suit different age groups, considerably reducing the costs.
